[MiNT] bug ? (was: TosWin 2.7)

I already have a working Toswin 2.6, but just as an experiment, I tried to
compile the Toswin 2.6 from the freemint-1.15.12 sources.  Somewhere
halfway the compiling stopped after an error message:
